Last school year we took part in the CAE course which was run by Frau Professor Ulrichshofer.
The Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) is a general language certificate of Cambridge University ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages). Graduates show that they have reached level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference (GER). It corresponds to advanced knowledge of English and our school offers a preparation course.
The course took place every fortnight and lasted for 2 hours. We practiced speaking, language in use, listening and reading. Additionally, we had the chance to write several texts.
Four of the course participants enrolled for the exam and, believe it or not, all of us succeeded in the exam which took place at the Cambridge Institute in Vienna in June!!!
We want to say a huge thank you to Frau Professor Ulrichshofer who kept motivating and encouraging us and, of course, for the preparation course.
